My name is Henry Reinders and I have over 28 years experience in both commercial and residential renovations, as well as new construction. The projects that I have been involved in range from simple door installations when I was younger, to much larger projects including  work as assistant supervisor on the 7.5 million dollar first construction phase of the Williams Lake Seniors Village in 2004 (I got involved in this project about half way through construction and helped bring the project to completion on time). After this I worked as the Building Maintenance Manager for the Williams Lake Seniors Village for close to 2 years.

The variety of projects I have undertaken has provided me with the experience to confidently handle virtually any size renovation project and new construction projects. With this experience under my belt, I am able to advise people on most aspects of renovations and new construction.

And that is what this website is about… advice and information in regards to renovations and construction. Mostly I will focus on renovations as this is where most people encounter problems and bad contractors. It is so easy to do things the wrong way that I hope the information I post to this website will guide you in the right direction and prevent costly mistakes.

For the experienced handyman, some posts may seem like very obvious information, but this website is intended for people with all levels of experience – and for beginners these types of posts may prove to be very informative and save them money and headaches.
